If you have Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Wrestling, or Judo experience, it is easier to transition into No-Gi Submission Grappling training. However, if you are new to grappling, we highly recommend beginning your training with our Brazilian Jiu Jitsu classes.
Students wear an Evolve Academy training t-shirt or rash guard and Evolve board shorts when training in our Adult Submission Grappling classes.
No. Beginner classes focus on teaching basic techniques and safety, and you can then work your way up to controlled sparring in class.
