While our striking program pulls from multiple disciplines, the techniques are grounded primarily in Muay Thai Kickboxing. Muay Thai is known as "the art of eight limbs" because the art utilizes the hands, elbows, knees, and feet. For centuries the art of Muay Thai (Thai Boxing) has been the most effective stand-up combat in the world.
What makes our system so unique is that we have tweaked traditional Muay Thai training to make it more practical for the everyday practitioner.
you will grow with every class!
Most Martial Arts systems teach and train in a traditional way that has been carried on throughout the centuries. A lot of the Hollywood-style punches and kicks will never work in a real-life situation. This is great if a student wants to carry on the art as a tradition or wants to compete in a tournament or controlled environment; however, it becomes useless in a real-life situation. Muay Thai for the Street trains for all areas of a real confrontation, making it the most functional martial arts system available!
